Change my appetite, Lord!

Dear Lisa and Lyn;

We are inundated with gossip, overwhelmed by it, yet crave it, like an addict craves a fix.
I will remember your tears and pray that God makes me weep as He weeps when I wander into sin simply be LISTENING to some sin . . . and that I will have the courage to be different in this generation of gossips and slanderers -- so that when people see me they see the love and mercy of Christ, AND NOT the hottest tidbit or speculation
about my friends or leaders!

[S]He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, therefore do not associate with a gossip.
(Prov 20:19)

The words of a whisperer are like dainty morsels, and they go down into the innermost parts of the body. (Prov 18:8)
